Our roots
MSS Diverging Minds has been created by a group of medical students that are part of McGill’s Medical Student Society (MSS). Thus, this club’s official affiliation is with this student body, which is also its main source of funding.

The MSS is a student body that promotes the views of its members by, amongst other things, funding the activities of clubs that promote interest in or advocate for a variety of causes.
​
The MSS falls under the constitution of the Students’ Society of McGill University (SSMU), which in turn promotes the interests of its own members.​
Thus, MSS Diverging Minds is affiliated to both the MSS and the SSMU and recruits members from both associations.

MSS Diverging Minds has also partnered with organizations with common interests in order to better promote awareness about neurodiversity. The NGOs we currently work with are:
